Maria Spinicci has worked as a paralegal for over 30 years, having earned her degree in Paralegal Studies from Sawyer College in San Jose, California, and where she began her career. She has extensive litigation experience, including and specializing in domestic relations and family law in the states of California, New York, and Texas and has often been referred to by her colleagues and managers as the “Client Whisperer” because of her empathetic ability to connect to clients experiencing life-changing transitions in their lives. In addition to her extensive paralegal background, Maria has experience in the fields of property management, human resource/personnel staffing allocation, and benefits administration.
In Maria's previous employment prior to joining The Mohr Law Group, she was selected by executive management of a national firm to mentor new paralegals, law clerks, and first year attorneys, and has similarly provided mentorship to legal staff, law clerks, and first year attorneys at all other firms she has been employed.
In her free time, Maria indulges in her love of the culinary arts and prides herself in creating new and delectable dishes. Maria also enjoys exploring nature while hiking, canoeing on lakes/rivers, and loves to read, dance, visit the beach, and spend time with her two adult daughters, her pet, and her closest friends.
Maria also enjoys volunteering for various community environmental projects and wellness programs and is a founding member of a book club, Metaphorically Speaking, which was founded with her closest friends, and is also a founding member of a social group in Austin, TX where she now resides, that focuses on wellness, community, and social networking for bold busy mamas.
