Here is what that actually means. Each year, Super Lawyers puts attorneys through a multiphase evaluation: nominations, independent research, and peer review, across every practice area in the state. Rising Star recognition is reserved for attorneys who are 40 or younger, or who have been in practice for 10 years or less, and it goes to the top 2.5 percent of lawyers statewide. It is not a list you can buy your way onto.
