Taylor was adopted at the age of three. While she did not know it at the time, that experience set her on the road to becoming a Family Law attorney, helping others navigate an incredibly complex and often overwhelming legal system.
Taylor was born and raised in Nacogdoches, Texas, where she was active in cheerleading, dance, and multiple honor societies and graduated from Nacogdoches High School in the top 2% of her class. She then attended Baylor University on the Presidential Academic Scholarship, where she was on the Dean’s List every semester, a member of the Baylor Songleaders dance team, and a member of multiple honor and academic societies. She graduated summa cum laude at the age of 20, then attended Baylor Law School on a full-tuition academic scholarship. She graduated and was licensed in 2012 (at the age of 23) and has since been admitted to practice in the Northern and Eastern Districts of the Federal District Court. Taylor became board-certified in family law in 2018, something only 1% of attorneys in Texas have achieved.
Taylor is also active in multiple prestigious professional organizations and bar associations, including:
Texas Academy of Family Law Specialists
Texas Bar Foundation
Curtis Henderson Inn of Court
Texas Bar College
Collin County Bar Association
Denton County Bar Association
