ABOUT HUNTER
“For me, becoming isn’t about arriving somewhere or achieving a certain aim. I see it instead as forward motion, a means of evolving, a way to reach continuously toward a better self. The journey doesn’t end.” — Michelle Obama
Hailing from the piney woods of Southeast Texas, Hunter felt a calling early in life to legal services, and he is committed to helping clients set priorities, examine options, and pursue long-term goals with empathy, respect, and perspective. Leveraging more than a decade of family law experience, Hunter is a member of the Paralegal Division of the State Bar of Texas and the Texas Bar College, a professional society committed to high ethical standards and improving training for practitioners.
Hunter is passionate about using technology to modernize the practice of law in general, is well-versed in the issues ranging from shared-custody parenting to business interests, and is skilled in navigating issues that affect modern families. Feeling called to work hard on behalf of vulnerable people, Hunter values compassionate advocacy and believes that his strong principles and integrity will help push clients through one of the toughest times in their lives.
Hunter is committed to advancing national discourse on dating violence, and is the Course Director of a student-lead Central Texas high school mock trial program that raises money and awareness for local domestic violence organizations. You may find him hiking the National Parks with his dog, enjoying Texas music festivals, or kayaking on a Texas waterway.
